Thousands of volunteers, Falmouth residents, charities, and Patrons & Benefactors work together to make the New Balance Falmouth Road Race the premier event it has become today. A sincere thank you from all of us to the Falmouth Police Department, the Fire and Rescue Department, the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office, the Town Manager, the Board of Selectmen, the Department of Public Works, the Public School Department, the Beach Department, the Recreation Department, the Steamship Authority, the Falmouth-Edgartown Ferry, Patriot Party Boats, the Island Queen, the Church of the Messiah, St. Joseph’s Church, St. Thomas Chapel, and especially the residents and businesses of Woods Hole and Falmouth Heights for their patience, understanding and cooperation on Race Day.

This year, for our At-Home Edition, there’s still plenty of time to register for the race, decide to run with a charity through our Numbers for Nonprofits Program visit a sponsor’s site, or decide to become a Patron or Benefactor. And be sure to join your running friends on Facebook, follow us on TwitterInstagram and catch the videos on YouTube.

As we look forward to 2021 and being together again, please consider becoming a host family to an elite athlete in your home for an experience you’ll never forget, or volunteering to help manage the race for the 12,800 runners who will once again grace our shores in person on the third Sunday of August. Contact the race office for more information.
